D.E.A. Project were true pioneers of the UK Garage scene, they wrote some of the best 2-Step tunes ever.
Their style falls into that more melodic end of the 2-Step scale near the tail end of the 1990's such as artists like Groove Chronicles, Master Stepz, Steve Gurley, Zed Bias and MJ Cole but really goes alot deeper than those mentioned. It's true London blues, well-written basslines, carefully constructed and often complex melodies, alot of the time with only the slightest hints of vocals here and there to give it that dubby effect.
